Click & Slide clips onto the Hettich adjustment hinges of the lower bed in the Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo W447 and Viano Marco Polo W639. It lets you lower the head section directly from the first ratchet position, without lifting it all the way up first.
Easier access to storage beneath the bed
Even lifting the head section slightly can engage the Hettich ratchet mechanism. Normally, you then have to raise the head section fully before you can lower it again. Click & Slide prevents the hinges from engaging in certain positions, removing that extra step.
This makes the storage compartment easier to reach, especially when sleeping pads, bags or storage boxes are on the bed. If you use the 1sternehotel under-bed storage tray with two Front Runner Expander chairs, taking out and putting away your table and chairs becomes more convenient.
Clip-on fitting without tools or dismantling
Carefully slide the stops onto the hinges from the toothed side and clip them into place, one on each side of the bed. Fitting takes just a few seconds, with no tools, screws or removal of the bed or hinges. Click & Slide can remain fitted and can be removed whenever required.
Match the variant to your hinge
The Hettich hinge actually installed in your vehicle determines which variant you need. Check its tooth count and hinge number before making your selection.
- Variant 1: 10 teeth, original Hettich hinge No. 510. For the Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo W447 and Viano Marco Polo W639 with this original hinge.
- Variant 2: 6 teeth, Hettich No. 808. For modified bed hinges.
- Variant 3: 5 teeth, Hettich No. 902. Not suitable for the Marco Polo.

How do you identify the correct variant?
Check the tooth count and hinge number. Variant 1 fits original Hettich No. 510 hinges with 10 teeth in the Marco Polo W447 and Viano Marco Polo W639. Variant 2 is intended for modified Hettich No. 808 bed hinges with 6 teeth. Variant 3 is for Hettich No. 902 hinges with 5 teeth and is not suitable for the Marco Polo.
How are the stops fitted?
