Our awning is unobtrusive, practical and can be operated manually. The awning is equipped with integrated support feet in the roller. The awning is simply attached to the Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo / Activity / Horizon (W447) & Viano Marco Polo (W639) with our specially developed mounting system, without drilling or gluing, and can be removed within two minutes using three or four screws (M6 hexagon / 10 mm spanner or ratchet), depending on the variant. Unlike other accessory awnings or the original Westfalia or Thule awning, no attachment part is left standing.
Our specially developed mounting system for Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo W447 (2014-today) with manual pop-up roof, electric pop-up roof (easy up) and the Viano Marco Polo W639 (2004-2014) with manual roof, brings the awning as close as possible to the vehicle. The holding system is designed for the passenger side. It is therefore not possible to install the awning on the driver's side of MPH & MPA's.
To minimise wind noise and prevent the awning from looking like a foreign object, the awning sits very close to the vehicle without protruding sideways. Adaptation to the shape of the vehicle and minimal wind noise were the main focus when designing the mounting system. The maximum vehicle height is not affected by the awning; depending on the vehicle or roof variant, we are two to three centimetres below the maximum Marco Polo height.
Thanks to the three millimetre thick, galvanised and powder-coated iron brackets, the awning is optimally adapted to the shape of your Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo. The sturdy mounting system, which is attached to the original screw points, ensures a perfect hold, whether the GRP roof is up or down, and a rainproof connection to the vehicle is created by an attached rubber lip. The awning offers protection in rain and sun and is an all-weather all-rounder. Use of the car wash or underground car park is still possible.
The rainproof connection to the vehicle not only provides sufficient protection in the rain, but also enables the use of car washes and also ensures less wind noise. In addition, the rear pop-up window can remain open in light rain without it raining into the vehicle.
The original piping rail fitted by Westfalia remains free and can continue to be used. The roller of the awning also has two additional piping rails for retracting front parts or accessories.
The housing of the awning is made of sturdy but lightweight aluminium in matt black. The reinforced roller, in which the support feet and tensioning arms are located, can be rolled up both inwards and outwards. The fabric can be rolled up in both directions, making it very easy to handle.

Handling instructions
- The awning should ALWAYS be secured with pegs and additionally tensioned IMMEDIATELY after assembly
- Before travelling, the awning must be checked for stability and correctly closed housing
- All screws must be checked regularly, approx. every three months, for tightness
