This privacy and blackout set for the Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo W447 covers the gaps around the rear living-area windows that allow light and unwanted views into the interior. With the blinds fully lowered, it gives you greater privacy when staying overnight or using the interior lights.
Close the gaps the factory blinds leave behind
The factory-fitted black Westfalia film does not extend far enough around the window edges to screen the living area completely when used with the blinds. These additional adhesive strips cover those exposed edges. They supplement the existing film and blinds rather than replacing them.
Pre-cut strips for every rear living-area window
The set contains precisely cut, matt black adhesive strips for the following windows:
- Kitchen window
- Small window above the refrigerator
- Tailgate window
- Right-hand rear opening window
- Sliding door window
Fit the strips without cutting them to size
The strips are supplied pre-cut. Apply them around the window edges, overlapping the original Westfalia film by approximately 1 cm. The film has air-release channels, so wet application is not essential.
For preparation, you will need kitchen paper and a degreaser or isopropyl alcohol. Thoroughly clean the application surfaces before fitting the strips. The step-by-step fitting instructions follow below.

Add privacy at the front of the vehicle
This set does not cover the front windows. For privacy, blackout and insulation in the front cabin, we recommend the magnetic thermal mats for the front cabin.

Which vehicle is this set designed for?
The set is designed for the rear living-area windows of the Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo W447. It supplements the existing original Westfalia film and window blinds.
Which windows does the set cover?
It contains pre-cut adhesive strips for the kitchen window, the small window above the refrigerator, the tailgate window, the right-hand rear opening window and the sliding door window.
When does the set provide privacy and blackout?
The strips cover the edges that are not adequately screened by the original Westfalia film and blinds. They provide privacy and blackout in combination with fully lowered blinds. They do not replace the blinds.
How are the adhesive strips fitted?
Apply the matt black strips to the thoroughly cleaned window edges. They should overlap the existing original Westfalia film by approximately 1 cm. No cutting is required.
How should the air-release film be applied?
Wet application is not essential because the film has air-release channels. Follow the fitting instructions in the product description.
