The Reimo Update tailgate tent adds space at the rear of your vehicle for camping equipment or a separate changing, shower or toilet area. Designed for Mercedes-Benz V-Class, Marco Polo, Horizon and Activity models from 2014 onwards (W447), it slips over the open tailgate.
Extra space that adapts to your camping plans
Measuring 200 x 200 x 212 cm (L x W x H), the rear tent can serve several different purposes:
- Space for a camp bed or bicycle.
- An area for an outdoor kitchen.
- A shower tent, toilet tent or changing room at the campsite or by the lake.
Set up without a tent frame and turn the rear wall into a sun canopy
The tent body needs no separate tent frame. Once it is fitted over the open tailgate, secure it with the supplied guy ropes and pegs. The two included upright poles allow you to raise the rear wall as a sun canopy, so you can also use the rear area with the back of the tent open.
Daylight from above and access from the side
The entrance and a window are positioned in the side wall. An additional PVC roof window brings daylight into the tent from above.
Coated fabric helps protect against rain
The light grey tent is made from 100% PU-coated 190 T ripstop polyester. A 3000 mm hydrostatic head and sealed seams help protect against rain. The fabric is also UV-coated and flame-retardant.

The tailgate tent weighs approximately 4.4 kg and packs down to 63 x 33 x 31 cm in the included carry bag. This keeps the additional campsite space compact for transport in your vehicle.
