This aluminium butyl insulation mat effectively minimises unwanted resonance from the outer door panel or door trim. The aluminium layer provides additional stability, while the butyl significantly reduces the natural resonance of the cladding part to be insulated, e.g. the door panel. If the installation situation requires it, several layers can of course be applied on top of each other.
