AMPIRE Autoalarmanlage für CAN-Bus (High-Speed CAN) CAN3903V

The AMPIRE CAN3903V uses the vehicle electronics' High-Speed CAN data bus to arm and disarm the alarm system and provide it with alarm-related information. It can both read data from the CAN bus and send commands. Where supported by the vehicle, it can control the turn signals, central locking and comfort closing.

The system can only be armed and disarmed using the vehicle's original factory remote controls, not the door lock. A blue flashing LED with an integrated service button provides access to operation and diagnostics. The built-in shock sensor detects impacts and provides a pre-warning. Remote engine start, emergency disarming and service mode are also available.

Six alarm zones

• Zone 1: bonnet or boot opening, detected via CAN
• Zone 2: strong impacts, detected by the built-in adjustable shock sensor
• Zone 3: door opening, detected via CAN
• Zone 4: optional analogue sensor
• Zone 5: ignition switched on, detected via CAN
• Zone 6: optional analogue alarm contact

The NPC anti-false-alarm function automatically bypasses individual zones if a fault occurs. The long-term memory stores the two most recent zones that triggered an alarm for later diagnosis. Pre-warnings caused by light impacts or an optional sensor are not disabled when an alarm zone is bypassed.

Siren

The siren has six adjustable tones that play in sequence and change every five seconds. Each tone can be disabled individually, and the order can be changed. The Soft Chirp function adjusts the volume of the confirmation chirp when arming and disarming.

Outputs

• FailSafe immobiliser relay included, rated for up to 15 A
• Analogue alarm output, rated for up to 200 mA, for the vehicle horn or an optional GPS tracking system
• Analogue turn signal or parking light output, rated for up to 200 mA, if control via CAN is not possible
• Analogue AUX channel for optional accessories, rated for up to 200 mA; activated by pressing the remote's lock button twice
• Analogue armed output for optional accessories, rated for up to 500 mA

Settings

The main operating settings can be changed using the service button integrated into the LED. For faster and more extensive programming, the optional Bitwriter programmer connects to the serial ESP port. It can be used to set a code for the alarm system and lock the settings against manual unauthorised access.
