The Blue Smart IP65 battery charger is the wireless solution for monitoring voltage and current, adjusting settings and updating the charger when new functions are available.
Simply download the app to your smartphone and connect it to the battery charger via Bluetooth.

Practical connection cables included
The batteries can be easily connected using the included cables.
You can either use the practical crocodile clips or connect the battery with the M8 eyelets.

The VictronConnectApp
Setting, displaying and configuring your Blue Smart IP65 charger using your smartphone. Using the VictronConnect app, you can view the status of your charger and battery and even control the functions of your charger. The voltage and current are displayed on the screen as standard

High efficiency
With an efficiency of up to 94%, these chargers generate up to four times less heat compared to the industry standard. Furthermore, once the battery is fully charged, power consumption drops to less than 0.5 watts, which is around five to ten times better than the industry standard.

Adaptive 6-stage charging algorithm Test - Bulk - Absorption - Recondition - Float - Storgage
The Blue Smart charger is characterised by its microprocessor-controlled, "adaptive" battery management. "Adaptive" means that the charging process is automatically adapted to the type of battery utilisation.

Storage mode
Less maintenance and ageing when the battery is not in use:
Storage mode is always activated if no discharge has taken place within 24 hours. The charge retention voltage is then reduced to 2.2V/cell (13.2V for a 12V battery) to minimise gas development and thus prevent corrosion on the positive plates. Once a week, the voltage is increased to the level of the gassing voltage. This achieves a kind of equalising charge that prevents electrolyte stratification and sulphation - the two main causes of premature battery failure.

Also charges lithium-ion (LiFePO4) batteries
LiFePO4 batteries are charged using a simple constant current phase - constant voltage phase - float voltage phase algorithm.

The NIGHT and LOW settings
If the device is in NIGHT or LOW mode, the output current is reduced to a maximum of 25% of the nominal output and the charger operates completely silently. NIGHT mode ends automatically after 8 hours. LOW mode can be cancelled manually.

Protection against overheating The output current is reduced if the temperature rises to 50°C, but the Blue Smart charger does not fail.
