For Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo with or without original alarm system

Our alarm package for the Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo is virtually invisible, it is armed and disarmed via the original Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo key. The only thing that is visible to you and potential thieves is a blue LED that we place in the centre of the dashboard of the Marco Polo, in the middle speaker cover of the centre speaker to be precise. The LED signals to you that the alarm is armed and you can leave your Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo. The LED tells potential thieves, I don't know where the alarm system is, I'd better move on.

The LED is positioned so far forwards that if you are using insulation in the cab, you can position the insulation so that the LED flashes on the outside, but does not disturb or dazzle you when you are sleeping in the pop-top roof.

Everything else is invisible, clean and efficient.

ALARM ZONES
The alarm system for your Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo provides optimum protection for your vehicle via 6 separate alarm zones. With the anti-false alarm function, individual zones are automatically deactivated in the event of a malfunction. The long-term memory allows you to read out the two alarm zones that last triggered an alarm at any time.
- Alarm zone 1: Triggered when the bonnet/boot is opened (via CAN)
- Alarm zone 2: Triggered by strong shocks via the integrated shock sensor (sensitivity adjustable)
- Alarm zone 3: Triggered when the doors are opened (via CAN)
- Alarm zone 4: Triggering via tilt sensor (analogue)
- Alarm zone 5: Triggered when the ignition is switched on (via CAN)
- Alarm zone 6: Triggered via optional alarm contact (analogue)
Pre-warnings caused by light shocks (via the integrated shock sensor) or by the optional sensor are not switched off as an alarm zone.

SIRENE
This ultra-compact siren with ferrite magnet is the best and loudest siren in our range with 121dB sound pressure (measured at a distance of 1 metre). The siren has 6 different siren tones which are played in sequence and change every 5 seconds. In addition, the volume of the siren chirp when arming and disarming can be adjusted using the "Soft Chirp" function. The alarm duration is preset to 30 seconds at the factory and can be extended to 60 seconds by the user.

LEGAL NOTICE
We recommend activating the siren sounds when arming/disarming (menu item 1-2). As the user of the alarm system, you will then receive acoustic messages about the status of the alarm system. You will be informed by soft siren tones (siren chirps) whether the alarm system has been correctly armed. An acoustic error message (siren chirp) would immediately indicate a door that is still open, a tampered alarm sensor, etc. However, this siren chirp is not permitted within the EU. The EU directives only permit a constant siren tone lasting <30 seconds in the event of an intrusion.
