Rear extension for the Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo W447 & Viano Marco Polo W639 or Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo Horizon & Activity

The rear slide-out for your Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo brings camping equipment, luggage or shopping within reach from the back of your vehicle, without having to reach deep into the load area. Its lightweight construction in polished aluminium with a 120 kg load capacity makes loading and unloading easier on trips, at work and in everyday use.

Kitchen-equipped models: an 80 cm-deep tray for organised storage

Version 1 is designed for the Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo W447 and Viano Marco Polo W639 with a kitchen. Use the internal dimensions to plan your storage boxes and equipment:

• Internal tray dimensions: 93.5 cm wide x 80 cm deep.
• Maximum loading height: 27.5 cm.
• With the additional storage tray beneath the lower bed: maximum loading height of 23.5 cm.

The following box combinations are specified for this version. You can pack the boxes at home, then place them in the slide-out:

• 5 Front Runner Flat Packs.
• 3 Front Runner Wolf Pack Pro boxes and 1 Front Runner Flat Pack.
• 4 Euroboxes: two measuring 60 x 40 x 22 cm and two measuring 40 x 30 x 22 cm, with the lids included in these dimensions.

The additional storage tray beneath the lower bed sits in the bed frame to create further storage space. It is designed to hold two Expander chairs. Items such as a camping toilet or a Skotti Grill can also be stored in it. The boxes and additional storage tray are accessories and are not included in the package contents listed below.

Horizon and Activity: a 70 cm-deep tray for four Flat Packs

Version 2 is designed for the Mercedes-Benz Marco Polo Horizon and Activity W447. The tray measures 92.5 cm wide and 70 cm deep internally. It is designed for four Front Runner Flat Packs. Euroboxes can also be used for organisation; select them according to this version's internal dimensions.

Fit it to the seat rails and retain use of the rear bench

The slide-out mounts to the seat rails using four fixing screws for the kitchen version or two for Horizon and Activity. It is designed for one-person installation and can be removed again without leaving marks on the vehicle.

With either version fitted, the rear bench can still be moved right up to the bed with its extension folded down. This arrangement allows you to continue using the living area in that configuration.

Lock it in either position and remove dirt more easily

The rear slide-out features automatic locking and locks in both the retracted and extended positions. When closed, the lock holds the slide-out in place during travel. When extended, the other lock prevents it from sliding back in by itself if the vehicle is parked on a slope.

The enclosed tray helps limit the spread of dirt inside the vehicle. The kitchen version has a removable grey-black carpet, while the Horizon/Activity version has a black felt lining. The tray itself can be removed completely for cleaning or when you need to use the space differently.

Operate the front latch correctly

Incorrect handling can cause the front latch to break. Please follow the operating instructions in the Instructions tab and the product description for the replacement front latches. A replacement set is included. Further replacement parts are listed in the Spare Parts tab.

Select the version that matches your vehicle. When planning your boxes, check the internal dimensions and, for the kitchen version, the stated maximum loading height.
